About The Founders
Stephen Lewis
Stephen Lewis, Founder of EMCÝ
Stephen Lewis, Founder of EMC² and Co-Author of the novel Sanctuary - The Path To Consciousness has been on the cutting edge of subtle energy physics for more than 30 years. He describes his background as "ridiculously eclectic" because his interest has been in energy, and he "can't think of anything that doesn't qualify." Everything is energy, therefore anything is possible.
His expansive background was fueled by a fascination with Oriental medicine, philosophy and religion and he acquired degrees in several of the healing arts, including acupuncture and homeopathy. To this, he added extensive research in human consciousness and the work of Wilhelm Reich, and later Voll and Schimeel, the creators of Radionics.

Stephen’s extensive studies and research led him directly to the insights and revelations upon which the extraordinary spiritual technology of EMC² is based. During his years in private practice, Stephen was guided to develop the technology and techniques for energetic evaluation and energetic balancing that are the core of the AIM Program.

Much of Stephen’s work has been inspired by the writings of seminal physicists Niels Bohr and David Bohm. In considering the work of these great physicists, as well as that of Einstein and others, and comparing their findings to that of the great spiritual teachers throughout human history (Buddha, Jesus, Earnest Holmes, The Fillmore's, etc.), Stephen came to the inevitable conclusion that the fundamental principles of both spirituality and subtle energy physics are the same: 1. The universe is composed of holograms within holograms and 2. Consciousness gives energy material form.

Working with these eternal truths, Stephen came to understand that imbalances first exist in consciousness and second in the etheric body before appearing finally in the physical realm. With that consideration, he felt it was no longer appropriate for him to be in private practice working with individual patients one on one, but rather to answer a calling to focus his work in the realm of spirituality in order to be of service to a greater number of people, indeed, to humanity itself. Stephen believes that it is impossible to separate healing from spirituality and consciousness. He refers to them as "our trinity." This is what led Stephen to partner with Evan Slawson and to their co-founding, along with Roberta Hladek, the Energetic Matrix Church of Consciousness, LLC, also known as EMC².

EMCÝ 's purpose is to find imbalances in consciousness and offer energetic balancing as a way to assist living beings in the clearing and releasing of those imbalances in order to increase their Life Force, well-being and Consciousness.

Stephen has always made an explicit distinction between the healing that is the natural result of a shift in consciousness as compared to the medical trio of diagnosing, treating and, hopefully, curing. That medical trio is the work of medical professionals and is done TO you. Healing, on the other hand, is definitively in the realm of spirituality and must be done BY you. Stephen points out that true healers don't actually heal you, but rather teach or inspire you to find the healing power that you naturally possess. All healing is a result of your consciousness directing your Life Force, and in that realm, because everything is energy, anything is possible.

The character of Max in the novel Sanctuary - The Path To Consciousness, by Stephen Lewis and EMC² co-Founder Evan Slawson, is based on the life and work of Stephen Lewis. The mythical Sanctuary in the book is yet another synthesis. Stephen enjoys both the city life and the isolation of the desert. By those who know him well, he is considered to be an +urban mystic, which, perhaps is yet another synthesis. In describing himself, he points out it is impossible to examine him in a linear fashion because he has always coalesced every influence and discipline in his life into what eventually has become both his creation and his revelation. He's quick to point out "this is still a work in process."
Evan Slawson
Evan Slawson
Evan Slawson likes to say he began his exploration of consciousness at birth, but knows that it began, as for all of us, long before then, and that every moment can be a meditative experience.

He began studying hatha, kundalini and ashtanga yoga as a teenager, and helped guide others with practices such as shamanism, reiki, hypnotherapy and meditation using
techniques revealed to him on his journeys. Determined to create the ultimate harmonious balance with the spiritual forces in his environment, Evan studied the art of feng shui with Black sect grand-master Professor Lin Yun and others, and became a feng shui consultant. He also profited from his talents as a screenwriter, photographer, filmmaker and technology consultant.

Combining his business acumen and spiritual vision, Evan began working with subtle energy and Quantum Consciousness when introduced to Stephen Lewis in the early 1990s. Since then he has been instrumental in the evolution of EMCÝ’s spiritual technology. Evan’s inspired ideas and contributions make it possible to offer the AIM Program tools to thousands of individuals globally. He is committed to empowering people to reach higher levels of consciousness in order to heal body, mind and soul.

Evan is the narrator and co-author of the novel Sanctuary: the Path To Consciousness.
Roberta Hladek
Roberta Hladek, co-Founder of EMC²
Roberta Hladek met Stephen Lewis in 1987 after being injured in a car accident. Having a natural attraction to alternative therapies, through a personal referral, she consulted Stephen for help. At the time, Stephen had his private practice in which he incorporatedacupuncture and homeopathy in conjunction with subtle energy research, physics, oriental healing arts, philosophy and spirituality.

As Roberta experienced accelerated healing and achieved a full recovery, she was amazed that the tremendous shifts in her emotional well-being were as profound as her physical healing, perhaps even more so. This spawned her passion for Stephen’s work, so much so that she left a successful career in the corporate world, obtained a degree in homeopathy and partnered with Stephen, taking on an instrumental role in expanding Stephen's practice, and years later, in making the miracle called the AIM Program of Energetic Balancing known and available to people world-wide.

As a co-founder of the Energetic Matrix Church of Consciousness, LLC (EMC²), with Stephen Lewis and Evan Slawson, Roberta also serves as Vice President of Operations, overseas marketing and Participant Resources (such as her infamous 'Energy Goal Cards' and “AIM Essentials” conference calls), manages the office staff at the company headquarters in Las Vegas, NV and oversees EMC² Facilitators worldwide. Last but certainly not least, she is the inspiration for the character "Jennifer" in the novel Sanctuary - The Path To Consciousness, Max's ever-patient assistant.
